Teacher Orientation

All new and returning teachers are requested to attend the teacher orientation to learn about this year's program, learn about the theme, get †eaching tips for leading your group, and meet your teaching team.

Teaching Materials and Supplies

 

Teacher classroom instruction is based on pre-established curricula and lesson plans to help teachers offer a fun and educational class. Includes ideas for enhancing classroom activity and learning. Curricular mateirals are often developed at the national UU level with the help of experienced educational professionals.

 

Closets full of art-and-craft supplies, and a library of age-appropriate and inspiring books are housed on the lower level of the fellowship, providing maximum creative expression. 

 

  • Curent School Year Curricula - The 2018 - 2019 Curricula themes are drawn from the UU 6 Sources of Inspiration. In the fall - Wisdom from the world's religions. And in the winter, the beloved Hogwarts School returns January - February to teach UU values through a Harry Potter themed activities. The school year rounds out March-May with workshop rotational classes based on the themes of trust, journey and wholeness.
     

  • 2019 Summer Cross-Age Program Theme - the 2019 Summer Cross-age theme is Fun and Games offering an informal program for June through August.
