Hello! I'm Megan Webb (she/her) and I've been with AUUF since 2018. In my role as Music Director I choose and lead music for the worship services, provide music for special events at the fellowship, schedule other musicians to participate in services and activities at AUUF, and direct the choir. (We meet on Thursday nights, in case you want to join!) In addition, I currently teach 7th and 8th grade band, jazz band, and a music exploratory class for Life-Skills students at Wendler Middle School. Rumor has it I might be teaching ukulele this fall as well! In college I studied clarinet, saxophone, piano, and voice, playing and singing in a number of ensembles at the University of Nevada in Reno, where I received my degree in Music Education in 2002. I am a current member of the Alaska Chamber Singers and love to make music with others as much as possible. I also frequently serve as an adjudicator and clinician for various state and local music festivals, and enjoy traveling to remote areas of Alaska to work with music students. My 9 year old son Elliot and I live here in Anchorage and are proud to be a part of what is happening at AUUF!
